Super Bowl fans party to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity
Friends, family, good food and football -- all of these things combine to make a great Super Bowl party. Several Memphis-area party hosts added to that list -- helping the less fortunate.
The Matrix Achievement Group's fifth "Home Team Huddle," benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis, took place Sunday during the biggest pro football game of the year.
With more than 60 party hosts registered all over the city, participants collected donations to go toward Habitat and completing its mission of "elimination of substandard housing in the community," according to Jeff Capps.
